This Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to the Investment Advisory services provided by North Wealth, the Investment Advisory brand of Invesmate Insights Private Limited, a SEBI-registered Non-Individual Investment Adviser bearing SEBI Registration No. INA000021544.
1. Cancellation of Services
The Client may terminate the Investment Advisory services in accordance with the terms of the Investment Advisory Agreement. The Investment Adviser may also terminate the advisory relationship as permitted under the applicable agreement and regulatory requirements.
2. Advance Fees and Refund
The Investment Adviser charge fees in advance with the Client’s consent. Such advance fees shall not exceed the period prescribed by SEBI, which is presently a maximum of one year.
In case of premature termination of the Investment Advisory services by either the Client or the Investment Adviser, the Client shall be entitled to a refund of the proportionate fees relating to the unexpired period of the advisory agreement.
The Investment Adviser retain a breakage fee not exceeding one-quarter (¼) of the applicable fee, subject to applicable SEBI regulations and the Investment Advisory Agreement.
3. Fees Already Paid
Except for the refund of proportionate fees for the unexpired period as stated above, fees already paid for services rendered shall not be refundable.
In the event of the death of the Client, the Client’s legal heirs shall not be responsible for payment of fees for the remaining period of the Investment Advisory Agreement. Any refund applicable for the unexpired period shall be dealt with in accordance with the applicable agreement and regulatory requirements
4. Processing of Refunds
Where a refund is applicable, it shall be processed through the appropriate payment or banking channel within the applicable regulatory and reasonable processing timelines.
